Wait and See... Diet Coke... Obsessed much?

Okay. I admit it, I am obsessed with Diet Coke. Not to the point of 7 or 8 a day or anything but still.
The amount of sensory bottles I have made for my preschooler kids out of diet coke bottles is crazy. However that makes for a great lesson in recycling and reusing!
I grew up with diabetic parents and a diabetic sister. All type one. Therefore, I have had aspartame since I was tiny. I know everyone says it's bad for you, well the world is bad for you! It's never affected me negatively to my knowledge and I LOVE it! But then again, I have a slight caffeine addiction.

Did you know that caffeine "intoxication" has been added to a temporary mental health disorder list. What are your thoughts on that? Propaganda or truth? Will coffee/caffeinated drinks be the next "drug" that we regulate by age like we do with alcohol!?!?

Wait and See... Jergens Natural Glow Sunless Tanner Review

Hey guys, this is my first blog post. Sort of just getting into the blogging world not sure what my blog will be about. I'm thinking I will call it a lifestyle blog since it will be all about my life. Things I like/don't like and what I'm up to.
So for my first post I thought I would do a product review for Jergens Natural Glow + Firming lotion for fair to medium. This is marketed as a gradual self-tanner that isn't super orangey with no odour and it's true...sorta. It's not orangey, it's super gradual and to be honest for most people it probably wouldn't do much. (There is also a medium to dark version which would probably suit more skin tones) The not true part - the odour! It's nothing compared to regular selftanner but it's still there.  You'll see a little pink circle in the pictures. It says NO ODOUR. That's a lie. I'm fairly certain no matter what self-tanner you get, there will be the same smell. It isn't overpowering or unsettling though.

me with slight colour from one application
I am super pale, as in I reflect sun rays like solar panels when out at the beach.  People often compare me to paper. But I also can't tan. I simply burn, peel, go back to pale which is inconvenient not to mention bad for my health. So a few years back I decided to give self-tanning a go. At first I was TERRIFIED of everything. I thought I would look weird, turn orange like an oompa loompa, be patchy or streaky, so I went the gradual route.
I've tried 2 different gradual tanners and this one is by far the least streaky and splotchy, it doesn't transfer to my clothes or sheets, it doesn't turn me orange and gives me some colour. That being said - it isn't instant! If you want a tan tomorrow, do your research and get a good expensive bottle of self-tan. But if you are willing to do a little extra work for your dollar then I recommend this product. I'm still somewhat pale and if I applied it more often I would get darker, but that's how I like it. I don't want to look like the jersey shore girls, but I also don't want to look like a corpse! This product brings me to a nice medium.
Just apply evenly to all areas of body then follow up with lotion. Let dry for 5 minutes or so then you can move on with your day. I do this once or twice a week.
