So for my first post I thought I would do a product review for Jergens Natural Glow + Firming lotion for fair to medium. This is marketed as a gradual self-tanner that isn't super orangey with no odour and it's true...sorta. It's not orangey, it's super gradual and to be honest for most people it probably wouldn't do much. (There is also a medium to dark version which would probably suit more skin tones) The not true part - the odour! It's nothing compared to regular selftanner but it's still there. You'll see a little pink circle in the pictures. It says NO ODOUR. That's a lie. I'm fairly certain no matter what self-tanner you get, there will be the same smell. It isn't overpowering or unsettling though.![]() |

I've tried 2 different gradual tanners and this one is by far the least streaky and splotchy, it doesn't transfer to my clothes or sheets, it doesn't turn me orange and gives me some colour. That being said - it isn't instant! If you want a tan tomorrow, do your research and get a good expensive bottle of self-tan. But if you are willing to do a little extra work for your dollar then I recommend this product. I'm still somewhat pale and if I applied it more often I would get darker, but that's how I like it. I don't want to look like the jersey shore girls, but I also don't want to look like a corpse! This product brings me to a nice medium.
Just apply evenly to all areas of body then follow up with lotion. Let dry for 5 minutes or so then you can move on with your day. I do this once or twice a week.
